Longtime Atlanta news anchor Amanda Davis had a massive and sudden stroke yesterday and has passed. Amanda has spent decades giving the day's headlines and was loved by MILLIONS of residents.
According to CBS 46 News Director Steve Doerr, Amanda Davis suffered a "spontaneous, massive stroke" Tuesday evening.
Doerr told Patch Davis suffered the stroke while waiting to board a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. She was airlifted to an area hospital, where she later died.
Davis was 62. RIP Amanda.
