R&B singer Mya turns 40 years old this fall – and she looks as good now as when she FIRST came on the scene.
We love the GROWN WOMAN that Mya is now.
Mya is a proud vegan. Perhaps this is what keeps her in such stellar condition?
“I was awakened to things that my parents didn’t know,” she said. “I was raised on pork… steak, chicken, everything… And everyone in my family pretty much of the older generation has diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer. My mother is a two-time cancer survivor,” she said during Russell Simmons’ Vegan Roundtable.
She has been busy promoting her recently released singles and will be releasing her new album sometime soon. But there seems to be something else Mya has her heart set on in 2018… A “Lady Marmalade” reunion.
“I’m the mediator usually in situations. ‘Ah can we please keep the peace,'” she told ET Canada. “But no, I don’t remember any cat fights, we just got the job done. And we came to give a show at the end of the day. […] It was a lot of fun, and I really hope that we can reunite and do the song,” she added.
P!NK recently spoke on her friction with pop singer Christina Aguilera, so it’s unlikely that she’ll be rushing to repeat the experience.
Over the past 10 years, she has released 4 albums and competed on Dancing With The Stars. She is also starring as Mina Kennedy in the AMC/UMC’s original series drama 5th Ward The Series.
