MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report that singer Colonel Abrams died on Thanksgiving. He had been ill for some time and died from a number of ailments. He was 67 yeats old.

He's best known for his smash singles “Trapped” and “Not Gonna Let,” but had fallen on hard times lately.

The singer was struggling to the point of homelessness, financially, for quite some time. In January, NY's WBLS radio station held a fundraiser in his name.
