Sad news for the popular HBO series, Watchmen, as the network has revealed that there will "likely" not be a second season after the show's creator walked away from the show.

"It would be hard to imagine doing it without Damon involved in some way," HBO programming chief Casey Bloys told USA Today.

The "Damon" he is referring to is Damon Lindelof, creator of the series, who also created the show, Lost, which many felt dragged on for too long. He does not want to repeat the mistake.

"I've already moved through the parabola of having an immense amount of success, and I was terrified that people would say, 'You're just a fraud.' And then it happened," Lindelof told The Post in October. "That's what I'm wrestling with. There's no amount of success I will ever achieve where I suddenly wake up in the morning and go, 'I'm f–king awesome.' It's just not going to happen."
